Weddings

Couples who are not members of the church can be married at Tilghman Methodist Church. Weddings at the church are between a man and a woman, and every couple sits down with the pastor for premarital counseling before the wedding.

The fees for a wedding are:

  • Church: $200
  • Pastor: $100
  • Pianist: $75

Funerals and Memorial Services

When someone has died, the family should first contact the funeral home. The funeral home will contact the pastor, and the pastor will arrange a meeting with the family to plan the arrangements, the worship service and the reception. The Church Annex can be used for the reception.

Baptism

To arrange a baptism, contact the pastor. A meeting will be arranged with the family to talk about the baptism.
